I wonder if Buzz meant, did you reach out to Marlin rather than is it a Marlin? I think he knew it was a Marlin from reading your post. gary, I see your point and the answer is still YES. As most know Marlin is now Ruger and they said no parts and no plans to make any, apparently Ruger simply bought the name and very little if any hardware. Daniel

10-4. Last suggestion is old school gunsmith shops. Larry Pockrus in Krum has a ton of stuff. Maybe there’s more like him in East Tx and beyond.

Lee’s possibly in Irving? I forgot about Lee's. That guy has a lot of parts in there. If you go in person, check his hours first, he has strange business hours. I got a part from him when no one on the internet had any at any price.
