Power for cpap us only during night i assume? So roughly 6-8 hours? A small Honda generator could work well and be quiet enough, but there are also some large battery type units fron places like goal zero that could work well, and can charge via solar or plug into a car. Problem with something like that is for a several day camping trip it would be useless unless you bought way oversized for the extra battery power. I would prob look at a small honda generator and go with that.
Cot is easier. Just go to cabelas or scheels and see what fits you.

Honda generator, shop numerous sporting good stores and find which cot you will enjoy the most. My dad has a Teton sports cot, has used it for years.

Since it is for a cpap, make sure your generator has enough fuel capacity to last you all night. Look up generator quiet box on youtube for some ideas to make it quieter. I got a couple of extra long heavy cords for when I run a small generator to power air conditioning in my camper stand. That way I get it far away from my camper and into a low spot so the sound don't carry. I can't hear it running when inside the camper and so far it does not seem to bother hogs coming to the feeder 75 yards away.

This doesn't help answer your question and has nothing to do with the post, but I'm just curious, why wouldn't the owner let you pull a camper out for a few nights and take it back with you? Seems strange.

you could get a tent cot from Cabela's and kill two birds with one stone. They are a tad heavy but if you can drive into camp its perfect.
As for the C-PAP, I'm of no help.....small honda generator would be my guess but i would look into alternate source of power because buying a generator to run one little plug in machine....seems there would be an easier way
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Great info thanks. We don't own a camper, would have to rent and I will go a few times, as a guest. I LOVE Staying at the Butterfield Inn, Jacksboro, but it's about 45 minutes from our lease to it, or any town. It's my buddies call as we take his truck. It is fun camping but does get BORING during down time. Might look into renting a small generator They are all pretty expensive and can get noisy. The battery styles are VERY expensive and need solar charging if staying more than two nights. Two nights is about all I can stand away from the comforts of home. I know, I know, my panties need washing

I have one of the Cabelas heavy duty extra long cots with a blow up pad. It is heavy and takes a few minutes to set up but it is extremely comfortable.

What's the power demands for the CPAP? How bad is it if it cuts out a little early?

Feel like I have entered the Twilight Zone or maybe the Texas Women Hunters Forum. I can say that because I have central A/C in my hunting cabin.

Buzz, buy a small generator. the small Predator from Harbor Freight is cheap enough. Don't rent each time you go. 2 trip rentals and a small generator is paid for. Oh and another one of your threads gave you $77 link to a UPS battery that would last for 2-3 nights and witn an inverter could charge if necessary in your buddy's truck.. Dry camping can still be fun and not a lot of work. Heck with your buddy's nice wall tent you are definetly not roughing it

I picked up a Champion off one of the forums for a couple hundred. Not that loud and will certainly run over night and well into the next day on a tank of gas.
