 Hanging feeder question.

First year up in Oklahoma and first year dealing with bears. They keep tearing up my tripod feeders.
Anyone got any tips for how to deal with them or best way to convert my feeders into hanging feeders?
I was thinking of using all thread and chain and using a boat winch and a couple pulley’s.

Use cable rather than chain.

If you own the property it would be worth doing like my cousin in West Virginia does....he cements a large steel pole deep in the ground with a arm at the top and a couple of pulleys to run the cable down to a boat winch. He has several like this and has no more bear problems....

If you own the property it would be worth doing like my cousin in West Virginia does....he cements a large steel pole deep in the ground with a arm at the top and a couple of pulleys to run the cable down to a boat winch. He has several like this and has no more bear problems....
