Since Bill isn’t posting much anymore, I thought I’d revive one of his favorite topics.
Got our electric bill today, $235 for 2080 Kw used.
Go!

$162. Not bad but our house is only 1440sf. We keep it at 72 degrees.

06/10/2022 - 07/12/2022 - 2736kwh = $333.99. Longer, hotter days means running my pool pump 10hrs a day.

Just got ours here in Idaho Falls. 1602 kWh for 40 days was $100. Not bad at 6.25 cents per kWh!

Looks like best cost on new contracts is around $.14 per KWH, depending on length of contract. When does your contract expire?

No contract, we have co-op electric. Winter storm extra charge of $14 monthly will drop off in a few months.

It is what it is.

Electric bill was just $116. Water bill on the other hand was $223. Damn shame when your water bill is almost twice your electric bill.

My dear wife unfortunately let our contract expire and of course we were put on the highest rate last month (.23/ KW) The Baytown house bill was $633. bang We now have a new provider at .14/ KW.
I spent three weeks at the Madison county place last month and the bill was $163.

I signed a 3 year contract 2 years ago. Not looking forward to switching. I was set up to always switch in April but rates dropped enough 2 years ago that it made sense to pay a termination fee and switch 3 months in.

Sounds about right. The Cost per KWh is up 45% for me from this time last year.

Got the email today, $181 / 1,925 kw used. We average somewhat less than that. I'm happy with it.

Had a customer call me today. Surprised by electric bill. Reminded her Garland Power and Light rates increased 2 cent per KWH . Mine should be here first of next week.

$215 for 1994 kwh. Back in March we locked in $0.104 for three years.

2500 sqft all electric house. We both work from home and we just built a 750 sqft shop that is air conditioned. The house pretty much stays at 73 during the day and 71 at night. The shop stays at 78.

We all need to practice Whoa more.
