I like the idea of expectations being laid out clearly upfront. Being on an unorganized Rambo lease with a bunch of drunks is no fun for anyone. Question, what happened to whoever was hunting the place last year? Why are they not coming back?

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea

One guy's kids are at the point to where they are more interested in chasing members of the opposite sex than deer hunting with dad anymore. Another fella didn't appreciate dealing with the guy we subleased from last year, fortunately we are dealing directly with land owners now. He just had a sour taste left in his mouth. One of them was the second guy's brother-in-law. Last guy was an older gentleman that I have been hunting with for years now. It was just time for him to give it up for one, and two he didn't want to start over with a group of hunters he didn't know. I am still good friends with all three guys, and talk to them often.

Hey guys, I picked up a couple extra pastures this year so I'm looking again. 4,600 acres total, 19 guns, $3,500 a gun. Looking for 11-12 guns. Same deal as last time. You deal with me, I deal with landowner, we all deal with Game Wardens if they come into camp. Only extras will be your part of the electric bill. Unfortunately there is not a way to determine who is using what so it will be split evenly between whomever is on the meter. And if the Axis numbers are good this fall flyover there will be some kind of trophy fee for the Axis Bucks. I do not know what that fee will be as of yet or if the flyover will show adequate numbers for us to start harvesting.

Thanks Fellas

You price went up 50%, from $10/acre to $15/acre. Is the new lease year round and what does camp consist of?

Actually the original post stated last year was 2500 pro-rated due to late season start, and that the next year “ being this year” would be 3500 .

Yes...my math is based off of the stated $3500 price for 2023-24, which is $10/acre. That price has now gone up by 50% to $15/acre.
