Me, I love the mountains of Colorado. Pagosa Springs has been great. Been there twice in the last month. What are some of ya'lls getaways to beat the heat?

Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

Heading back to southwest Colorado next week for the 3rd time since June. Can't beat it in the summer esp. when it's 110 and miserable here.

Been going to the Frio every summer since I was a teenager. We go to Belize almost every year.

Bayfield and Gunnison are our favorite places in Colorado.

I spend much of my youth running the mountains between Pagosa and chromo. Pagosa has changed in a lot of ways but still the same in a lot of good ways.

Be the first year I haven’t hunted there in some capacity in almost a decade. Those mountains will always be special but the remoteness has faded.

White mountains of Idaho are very beautiful and more remote.

I'd love to have a place in the mountains I could stay about 6 months each year, a couple weeks is just no real relief from this heat. I'm thinking about selling the farm and buying a place with mild summers.....I'm in San Antonio this week, headed to Loreto, Mexico at the end of the month, you would think I would learn to plan better.

When my grandfather retired from police force, he would run security for the Colonial and then off to the mountains until Nov. My parents and Grandparents hand built that cabin and finished it the year I was born. It was only 5 hours from the ranch so I got to spend much of my youth up there, even got a job riding fences.

My grandmother stopped being able to go when she hit 80’s. Unfortunately my dad sold it year I graduated college. I’ve tried to buy it back twice now.

I think you should. If I was retired I damn sure be hard pressed to miss a mountain sunrise and sunset while enjoying a hot drink on the porch swing.

Usually Grand Cayman. But they have ridiculous Covid rules. I’m
Not getting my kids vaccinated to go on vacation.

We rarely vacation. But, a couple of years ago, I hunted Africa. Due to cost, probably won’t do it again. This year, wife and I will go somewhere, maybe Vegas or?

What I want to do is fly to New York then to Canada. Take a train to the West Coast. Then to Alaska for some fishing. Don’t know whether I’ll make that.
