Any tips or specific sounds for using this to draw a buck out of the brush ?

I have rattled in 3 different axis bucks before when trying to rattle in WT bucks in early Dec. on the Kerr WMA.

I bought the Ezy Axis buck call, made right cheer in Boerne. 'Haven't used it enough to call in a buck, and I really don't think it's "guttoral" enough at the end, but I'm a novice. He does recommend a cow elk call with it. Don't blow either one too much or too often. One "chirp" on the Hoochie Mama is all I would do for several minutes. In my limited experience on my place, the bucks only roar maybe twice max.

Not sure what setting it is but set mine WAO and do a full chirp on it, hit it again about 5 minutes later.

Well it worked, or least I think it did..gave it two bleats about 10 seconds apart..15mins later he was in the open looking around. Put a 6.8 bthp in his neck..
