Thanks to being a military dependent while growing up I spent 5 years overseas. Got a good exposure to the finer adult beverages.

I remember Ripple but never had it. I did drink a lot of Boons Farm, MD 20/20, Thunderbird, Cisco, and Purple Passion back in my High School partying days. I was in High School but had buddies that had graduated and were in College Frats. Those Frat parties got pretty wild especially during Rush Week. Worst hangover by far was from the MD 20/20 though. I felt like I was gonna die from some of those hangovers back then and swore that I was never gonna drink again. Then I was out the next night partying and doing it again. I honestly don't know how I'm still alive or not in prison for DUI after some of those nights out partying. Young, dumb, and bullet proof!

What's the word? Thunderbird! .......... What's the price? Two-bits twice!

What's the word? Thunderbird! .......... What's the price? Two-bits twice! Whats the reason, grapes in season. Who drinks the most, us White folks! Not a prejudice comment but to the best of my knowledge the Black folks drank Ripple and MD. As s teenager the guys drank beer, we would buy the girls Boone Farms Strawberry Hill or Apple wine.

Wasn't Ripple Fred G. Sanford's favorite romance drink? He also said you could mix it with champagne and make champipple.

Yes I do and the other ones mentioned. High school days 71-75 living in a small town were fun times.

As a freshman at Texas Tech, we headed for the strip to buy that stuff! $2.00 a bottle if I remember correctly! Worst hangover I had for three days, to this day I cannot stand the smell of any wines! 😫

Malt Duck for me. I could go out to the hayfields sick with a hangover and drink a couple of Malt Ducks and I was good to go.

Bali Hai was a cheap drunk also. A little over a $1.00 a bottle then but now an unopened bottle is worth quite a bit.
