So we went to our lease outside of Uvalde Monday - On the way I learned of the San Antonio deaths of 52 people who were crossing illegally. Made me want to throw up. These deaths of human beings has to stop.

Once we got to the ranch our LO told us Tuesday that the border patrol was after 200 illegals on their 16,000 acre ranch. As we drove around the place Monday and Tuesday we saw an unbelievable amount of backpacks, clothes, etc in every sendero - we talked to the ranch hand who told us about a neighbor who found an 7-8 year old girl who had been by herself in the brush for several days and nights. Her grandfather left her in the brush.

I know there are areas that the illegal traffic is heavier than others but what difference does that make? If this stuff is happening ANYWHERE it is totally wrong - something has to be done and done soon

Neither political party has enough "leaders" that really care.

You have to stop the flow. Clear policy. Get the word to these countries that you will be returned. Work with Mexico. Deport to Laredo.

The word in these villages is the US is now open. And we’re proving that to be correct.

We have zero leadership.

Or ship everyone to Delaware.

A year ago I heard about dead babies being found in deer blinds and saw pictures of illegals drinking from cattle troughs and boiling deer feeder corn. It breaks the heart of any normal human being. We need a wall + all the high-tech monitoring that used to be touted. We're a long ways from this stopping. Who knows what Texas will look like in 10 years. The cartels worship in a death cult. The American left worships in a death cult. It's not unprecedented in human history, but, I do think there's a strong possibility that Rome is falling.

If America, like Rome falls, it will be from the rot inside, like Rome.

It took 700 years for Rome to fall.

Everything sucks right now but the Red Wave has started, don't give up hope just yet. November the bums will be kicked to the curb. Then we just have to weed out the RINO's.

If they had shot 51 illegals crossing the river, word would have spread and they would stop coming. Much more humans thing to do.

We have a "conservative" Governor that could close the border and build the wall anytime he wanted to. He could post Red Blooded Americans to man the border crossings, there are a number of solutions but, none of them are implemented. None of them get initiated or get done. Instead we have a State Leader that brags about bussing illegals into the country like he is a hero. He is not a hero, he is very much to blame for the dead bodies in that trailer and in the brush.
If a "Christian Conservative" leader refuses to do anything, then who will? What exactly is going on at the top?

The young children I feel for, they have no choice in the matter but, the adult men and women crossing illegally, I have absolutely zero sympathy for, they could do it the right way but they chose to do it illegally, they know it’s gonna be hard, you think they’re unaware of the dangers of running through the brush in 100* weather? Are they too stupid to know that climbing in an 18wheeler trailer in 100* weather is not a good idea? Give me a break.

What authority does a Governor have over federal immigration? This is 100 percent the job of the federal government. Border Patrol has over 20000 agents. DPS has 2000, that have other jobs. Many doing it on a rotational basis.

Sooner the better...If your willing to risk your life, to get here.
And everything goes south. There's nobody to blame, except yourself.
So pardon me, if I don't share the national guilt.

Actually, the TX GOV has many options at his disposal including declaring an "Invasion" but he's a political creature that only cares about the next election.

Republicans buck up and challenge what is going on - most of them are on a free ride - big money, big pensions, etc. The answer is TERM LIMITS - you get TWO terms and then you are out -
Solves all of the political BS

A state has authority to set it's own laws and rules for the most part. The feds are the only ones that can print money and the like but we set the majority of all laws and rules within our borders. The feds said no dope, but states do it openly, feds said no suppressors but states do it openly, feds say a lot that is not state sanctioned or adhered to.
The border belongs to Texas, it is not Federal land last I checked.

The Supreme Court is in a good mood right now.
Would be a good time for Abbott to try and snag some state power right now.
