Yep, looks excelente. Smart move on the drink. Very few restaurants that I like the cocktails in. And, unless it's beer, in a Mexican food restaurant...fuhgeddaboudit.

Looks like a rough morning! Not if you eat there regularly! I get chopped onions on mine, instead of the jalapeños.

Herberts has been my #1 since the early 90s... The flour burrito dinner is my go to when there...I make it a point to go thru San Marcos at lunch time when traveling south!!

Herberts has been my #1 since the early 90s... The flour burrito dinner is my go to when there...I make it a point to go thru San Marcos at lunch time when traveling south!! FYI next time you are wanting one they now have a place in NB where they have a liquor license. The only thing I don't like in SM is that their Margarita's don't have Tequila in them due to no license. That is one reason I got a take out and came home and made me a real Margarita.

Stick with San Mucous (believe me here). No comparison between the two. San Mucous has the best black velvet cosmic weeping Jesus ever.

Looks perfect! Herbert's is still every bit as good as it was the first time I ate there in the late 80s!! For my taste buds, it just doesn't get any better than Herbert's. My go-to plate used to be Herbert's Special. Now it's Anthony's Deluxe. Just wish it wasn't 1 1/2 hours away from here!
