We live on 25 acres in the country. These bugs are everywhere but mostly at our back and front door and in our garage. I do not think they are hurting anything but they are everywhere even after I spray - anybody know what they are?

Don't know but spray some Tempo and everything will be dead.

That looks a lot like a fire fly to me.

I used to catch them many years ago in the summer at my grandfathers deer lease

I just went and googled it, the pic posted looks more like a fire fly to me than what I found.

Not only that, but you can see the waves, for lack of a better word, on the wings in the second picture. Definitely the red shouldered bug.
