Looking to finish out an 800 square foot apartment inside a metal building that already has power/water/septic? What’s the going rate per sq ft?

Spent close to $45k to have my 350sf carport converted into a complete one bedroom place for the daughter/SIL and the grandkids when they come to visit back in 2016. That also included the beds, chairs, tv, shower, toilet, separate a/c and everything else needed for it to be self contained. They have used it maybe 20 times since then so it was not as cost effective as I thought it would be verses getting a hotel room for them. On the flip side if and when we sell this place we will now be able to put a four bedroom three bath house on the market.
