I've enjoyed looking at everyone's Barndo/shop builds I thought I would share pics of ours. We bought our property in early 2021. It had a 30x60' shop, a double wide trailer, small tractor barn, water to trailer but no electricity and a mud/minimal rock road to trailer (if it was wet you pretty much needed 4x4)

We sold the double wide pretty quick and began our barndo. This is what we ended up with.

Here are a few pics of the other structures

1st is the 30x60 shop, we had it reskinned to match barndo.

2nd is the tractor barn we had rebuilt to store other toys.

Very nice enjoy.

We ended up with 4 bedroom and 3.5 bath. This is more of a recreational/family/friends place for us. Both my wife's and my parents are getting older and don't do stairs well, so there is a master suite downstairs (only bedroom downstairs), a master suite w private bath upstairs, 2 other bedrooms, a full bath and landing (kids play area) upstairs. Here are a few inside pics. We are still in the organizing/ my wife decorating stage, so keep that in mind.

We still have to finish the walls where you see the painted insulation. Leaning towards white aspen tongue and groove.

How are the electric bills on these types of builds with spray foam?

Last months bill was $135. Tankless propane hot water heater. When there we run AC at 72 and when we are not its on 80.

We also have our camper plugged in to run its fridge and keep its battery charged.

This next electric bill should give us a better idea.

We plan to spend fall through spring weekends there where temperatures will allow us to have the big doors open.

But our girls have enjoyed the blue redneck swimming pool.

Looks like our electric bill should be around $150 or less per month in the summer (even with all our recent heat).

Current project is a 16x20' shooting barn. 10' enclosed to store skeet throwers, clays and other shooting targets and 10' porch to sit in shade to wait your turn.

Also working on 2 10x20' flight pens for the quail we have hatched. Incubating quail eggs and watching them grow has been a great life lesson for our 18, 8 and 6 yo girls.

Very nice. Love the idea of those garage doors opening up in good weather [you know, the week or so in fall and winter you can actually do that]. All kidding aside, very nicely done.

We finished our shooting shed. Storage area for skeet throwers, clays and other targets. Porch area to sit in shade to wait your turn. I need to pull power to it, couple plug ins for battery charging, few lights and couple of fans on porch.
