Just buy some Ping's and be done with it, they will hold their resale value.

I hit a few of my friends tight lies when they first came out a long time ago… they were okay I guess. Few years back I picked up a Taylor Made rescue and it’s one of my favorite clubs. Gets the ball up in the air and it will hold the greens. I still carry a 3 iron, but usually just use it for low punch shots if I’m in trouble. Go up to pga superstore at Preston and 121 and hit them both up

Buzz...buy a name brand set (Ping, Callaway, Mizuno, etc...), second hand. Plenty on Facebook Marketplace You don't need to buy new. If the grips are bad just text me and we can change them out. I have everything you need.

Agree Pings are great! I put my titleist irons up and started swinging my old ping eye2’s from high school and man they feel pure. Those square grooves are hard to beat.

I ditch the 3 iron in favor of adding a gap wedge. I keep 4 wedges in the bag. Pitching, Gap, Sand, and Lob. Give me a lot of choices from 100 yards or so in.

I don't play golf anymore because I don't have time, but I used to play 2-3 days a week. I had a driver, 3 wood, and 2,3,4 hybrids. The longest iron in my bag was a 5 iron. Hybrids were so much easier to hit than the long irons.

Buzz you're old and fat, buy a cooler and some beer. The score doesn't matter anymore.

Have a set of green eye, blue eye and a few red eyes in the attic. Also have a Wilson set, and some assorted Calloway big Bertha woods and drivers. I haven’t played golf in years, most was handed down to me. If I played more I would have then sized to me.

I still play Ping Zing 2 black eyes. They're worth more than what I wanna spend second hand and I have 3-9 plus W, S, LS, and L wedges.

Buzz, the Tight Lies clubs are the only ones I have actually seen anyone play with but like others, I recommend "normal" clubs and lessons.

Pass the gravy.

Heck yes I like it up

Reminds me of the first time I went snow skiing at Keystone back in the 70's, went with a large group that was organized by a radio station.
Get to the top of the slope and two of the guys in our group said wait lets do a shot scratch

He unscrewed the handle off of his ski pole and the shafts were hollow, one filled with tequila, other with pepper mint schnapps.
Great way to start off my first ever run down a slope grin

I absolutely suck at golf, play a round every few years. I shot an honest 102 with a hybrid, 7 iron, wedge and putter. Those hybrids are very forgiving and much easier to hit. roflmao

Haven't swung a club in 3+ years, got out the clubs yesterday and had no problem swinging the Medicus dual-hinged 5 iron and had no problem swinging it without it breaking over. Just took a few swings to feel good with it. They can help you with a swing style lots of the pros use but I doubt Arnold Palmer, Jim Furyk or John Daly would be able to swing their normal swing without it breaking over, but who would try to emulate their swings just their success on the course.
