I keep having coons and I got chickens.
I am live trapping.
I prefer to not kill.
I prefer to not relocate.
From searching on the internet it appears some might be willing to come get for training their dogs.
If that's true, I got one, come get it.

Harold,

Sorry, I know your intentions are good, but they can't legally transport them. Can't be done that way.

"It is a Class C misdemeanor to transport or sell
live foxes, skunks, coyotes and raccoons from, to, or
within this state."

Contact the local game warden and tell them the situation. They can transport it, not sure they can give it to a houndsman training pups but they might be able to. I guess I was raised a outlaw? Did not know you couldn't keep one to train pups to tree with?

They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason! nidea

I was a houndsman for several years long ago and may have transported a few myself once upon a time, so please don't shoot the messenger. yingyang Times sadly have changed.

More on it. I think this is where the no transport statement originates from.

The danger with not being aware of the regulations, then offering something like that on social media, is the potential of setting oneself up for a gw sting or a possible guest appearance on lone star law.

Appreciate y'all's words.
I prefer not to make contact with a system that I do not agree with.
Since they ate 2 guineas I made soldier fly maggot buckets and feed the predators back to my chickens.
Blessings

I'm not up on the law, I thought the transport thing involved public land or out of State.
