Contact the local game warden and tell them the situation. They can transport it, not sure they can give it to a houndsman training pups but they might be able to. I guess I was raised a outlaw? Did not know you couldn't keep one to train pups to tree with?

I was a houndsman for several years long ago and may have transported a few myself once upon a time, so please don't shoot the messenger. Times sadly have changed.

The danger with not being aware of the regulations, then offering something like that on social media, is the potential of setting oneself up for a gw sting or a possible guest appearance on lone star law.

I'm not up on the law, I thought the transport thing involved public land or out of State.
