Anyone here take an anti-depressant? Will this red flag you?

Nope not me. I know some that it will. I know some that I wouldn't trust with firearms who are on anti-depressants. I have a few buddies with PTSD that I don't allow around guns on my place unless I'm hunting with them and then they get the single shot. It's been my experience that things can change in a split second. I've served with some great guys but after coming home they aren't the same people that left.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Texas doesn’t have red flag laws although I hear congress is trying to pass a law to bribe states to implement them via increased federal funding. That funding would be better suited to harden schools.

It will be subjective with "Red Flag" tyrants in liberal counties and cities.

I wonder if Kim Foxx has been placed under Illinois red flag laws for her Domestic disturbance. How can a DA operate under that?

Better start watching what you post on THF, FB, Twitter, etc as I have a feeling that we are going to get to a point where social and online activity and presence will be used against you. It already is for employment.

The problem with anti-depressants is that most people do not understand depression. There are the rare exceptions, but for the most part people who are depressed are usually just tired and dont want to do anything.

Hopefully school teachers and administrators keep good records on the kids who have noticeably loose screws for the benefit of those who come asking about them.

I agree. Changing your diet to get better nutrition and getting a little more active can help. There is a place for antidepressants and anti anxiety medication but it’s overprescribed.

And may be creating more harm than good.

There was a radio commercial the other day for a service
to sign up for a short remote consultation and then have
anti-depression and anxiety meds prescribed and shipped
to your door. This may be old news to some but I was very
surprised and do not like it at all.

Yea, sounds like a bad deal. Heck, I have to jump through hoops now just to keep getting my sleep meds..

Jesus is my anti-depressant. And customers that pay me cash. haha. I'll probably get red flagged for both of those comments.

Only way to counter is legislation for serious repercussions for red law abuse.
