An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

I am hearing $15+/bag this fall

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Sure making it tough to run feeders these days. I have 8 corn and 2 large capacity protein feeders making for a hefty feed bill monthly. 1 or 2 seconds slinging corn and heavy racoon eradication going on to try and offset the madness. (along with feed pens everywhere)

Corn up here looks amazing, best year so far in a long time but it’s a long ways from over.

Depending on your location, there may not be much for natural browse. If that’s the case you need to add a protein block feeder to your setup

I have 4 timed protein feeders and 4 corn feeders running year round on my personal place. Feeding about 60# of protein per month year round and not much corn right now. Post rut and right now I may bump them up a bit on protein. Do feed a little free choice protein at times or cottonseed. Ranch I manage we have 36 free choice protein running year round. Was running about 750# of free choice protein per day till 14 days ago it went up to about 850#/day of 20% protein. We lucked out and had about 4" of rain since April 25th but we are way under for the year.....like everyone else. Fawns are hitting the ground and even seen a few bucks bumping G5s already....most are past G2s or G3s though. Deer really look great this year considering lack of rain.
