We're excited to announce another great scope in the Bering Optics line up! The Super Yoter 25mm 640x480 1.5x-6x thermal rifle scope. The Yoter 25 is set to start shipping towards the end of May and will retail for....get ready for this....$3.495! The scope includes all the standard Bering features such as video recording, wifi, color pallets, OEM QD mount etc.

I've been testing this optic and the image quality is outstanding, just like the Super Yoter 35mm and 50mm models.

This is going to be a fantastic scope for close range hog or varmint hunters who are looking for a very wide FOV, low base magnification, excellent image quality and have it all in a very small lightweight package. To be clear, if you're doing a lot of shooting out there over about 75 yards you'll be better served by one of their models with a 2x or 3x base mag. But if you're a close range hunter (think East Texas hog hunting) on a tighter budget, this is going to be a really good option.

Pretty sure that’s the same tethered rubber cap from the original 25mm Hogster

I smell a price drop coming in 640 handhelds 🤘🏼

No sir it's just the same rubber lens cap from their Hogster R 25.

It's not a fair comparison since the Bravo is a 3x base mag and the Yoter 25 is a 1.5x. Even though it's 640 high resolution you'll still do better with a Bravo or Super Hogtser at their native 3x if you're doing to be doing a lot of shooting over 75 yards. This Super Yoter 25 is going to be best suited for mostly close range shooting and will excel in scenarios where a Super Hogster or Bravo struggles (very close range) and those 3x 384 scopes will excel in the mid to longer range shooting where a 1.5x optic struggles.

We're still at a place where a $3,200-$3,500 384 3x thermal optic makes a lot of sense for many hunters over a lower magnification 640. However, if this was a 3x base mag optic, then that would change a lot of things. And eventually that might happen one day!

Pig_Popper put one on his varmint rifle and managed to do okay with it. roflmao

The last kill of the video is a beautiful 175 yard coyote shot on about a 25 lb coyote.

Just like regular day optics, too many folks default to higher magnification when they should be prioritizing lower mag and better FOV. Hunting is dynamic and animals rarely stand still.

I’ve got hundreds of hours on the original 25mm Hogster-R and I’m still tickled pink with my investment 3 years later. A bump up to a 640 core for another $1k(ish) is a no brainer, but you can still get a metric ton of solid work done with the 384 version.

What people should prioritize is what works best for them in their situation. If you like the lower native mag 25mm, that is outstanding. For others, it will not be optimal.
