Big fundraiser every year for a local group and we enjoy going to shoot.
The Central Wyoming Machinegun and Cannon Shoot is every second weekend in June.

Great guys from Dallas Defensive Arms show up very year with a ton of neat guns to shoot, other rentals available too.
A chance to see some older field artillery in action too.
This year DDA had a neat little 9mm Gatling gun, was a blast to shoot.

Lots of reactive targets, fun time was had.

Private individuals could rent a firing line spot to shoot as well. Several folks were there with long range rifles for the mile targets and with their private full auto and artillery.
The home made black powder cannon was a hoot to see.

Would have like to have seen that FA piece shoot.

Not sure about the homemade cannon that guy is working in the prone position. Looks like he is about to get a face full of sight when that lights off.

That pic is out of order, sorry about that. He was sighting it in then lit the fuse and we all got back, lol.
Notice how far that cannon recoiled, about 3 feet back off his board.

They do a Mad Minute after dark Friday and Saturday nights.

These guys were shooting a 27mm I believe at a target about 1/2 mile away.

So what do they charge is you want to shoot one?

Neat. More ammo at that shoot than I have seen is the last 10 stores I have been in.
