Prettiest and smallest rattlesnake I have ever come across. We have a small population of these where I work, I come across two or three a year. I always leave them alone or depending on location remove them to a more remote area. I will try to post pics. Not sure I know how to anymore.

Yes Sir…plus three types of copperheads (southern, broadband, & trans-pecos) cotton mouth, and Texas coral snake….

I believe more species of venomous snakes than any other state…

That information on the total numbers of poisonous snakes in Texas needs to be posted at all the rest stops on the interstates and somehow make it widely know in states like California or Illinois or even Washington and Oregon. Stay away.

I think Arizona has the most species of venomous snakes owing to its rattlesnakes. (about 13 species or so).

Texas is probably second.

This gal is a good friend of ours, killed this rattler a few nights ago. She chased this snake down in the dark (with only her iphone for light) with a shovel. Couldn't kill it with that so she went back to her cabin and got her revolver. She's 5'10". She eats snake regularly, sauteed with butter and wild onion and wild garlic usually. Will make something with the skin. Tough gal, btw she's single and quite an independent cowgirl if there's any guys out there that can handle that.

No venomous snakes in North Korea, ,,, dangerous, YES, the Korean Snow Snake.
