I can’t wait to get downstairs and cut 2 studs the same length! These rake walls are a bear for a Ol bumpkin like me.

It’s starting to look like what we had envisioned though. Maybe another day upstairs to frame the bathroom/bedroom shared walls/door openings.

They run a tight ship! Just wish they were a little older and I bet we’d have this thing knocked out.

*I actually wish time would slow down and they’d still little forever.

Work and school got in the way of the barndo build!

We finally had a chance to work on it the last few weekends and we are about ready for spray foam.

All plumbing is complete. Electric rough in is mostly done. Partition wall is complete.

I'd kind of wondered what happened to your build. I figured it was done months ago.

Thanks for the update...keep us updated now that things are moving forward again

Almost there on the build and I can relate about wanting the kiddos to take there time growing up, mine are 24 & 22 and I miss them every day.

Went with 2” of closed cell foam on the barndo!

Pretty good compliments from the foam guys on the quality of the build. They should finish up the shop tomorrow. Hoping to maybe get the rest of the electrical knocked out this weekend. We will see.

I think this is even more wild.

Middle of the day.

50° delta now.

It will get better. That is an exothermic reaction and that heat is held in by the same physics that make it a good insulator. Give it a day to get rid of the reaction heat.

Happy Father’s Day! Spent mine doing what I love!!

Other than a few small electric home runs - the barndo is about finished with electrical.

I’ve got to run power to the shop 100amp sub-panel - hoping to do that tomorrow.

It shouldn’t be long now.

Got the sub-panel to the shop, the range drop, and the dryer outlet wired in today.

I’m going to go through the punch list the next couple days to make sure I’m ready for Sheetrock. Sounds like it could start as early as next week!

Well - not sure what happened to my other thread…but it appears to have disappeared.

Here’s the barndo before sheetrock - they should start this week.
