 Does anyone have a photo of a melanistic coyote?

I am writing an article for THE JOURNAL OF THE TEXAS TROPHY HUNTER about black panthers. I mention that melanistic coyotes do exist and are fairly common in some areas of East and Southeastern Texas. I have never seen or killed a black coyote so going to lean on one of my buddies to help me out. I will give you photo credit in the magazine.

You looking for a live picture of one or a dead picture of one? I have a picture of one killed on our lease back in the 1980's but I would have to find it.

Here it is. Was killed in Freestone county by another guy on our lease back in the mid 1980's. And...he was wearing the coolest camo pattern...ever.

Thanks so much guys!!! I got one from my friend, Byron South that should work just fine. It was great seeing all the melanistic coyotes from various parts of the state.
