Alright First off I've been building a few diff. versions of knifegrinders and After 2 years of Daily Use. I'm pleased to report that this here design has performed above my expectations, flawlessly! I've built over 100 knives on the prototype with ZERO issues!!! I've been workin hard to find something a little more affordable yet completely adaptable for every task! This here is what's known as a fixture grinder as it has a second tube for accessories The pics show the Basic Grinder with 8" grooved contact wheel and comes with the tool rest (not pictured). Features a 1 HP 120/240 volt Farm Grade motor with an optional 2 year warranty with a National Franchise so you have a source near you! Farm grade means high ambient temperature ability in very dusty environments! All Aluminum wheels for the longhaul! Motor base has the nuts welded on underneath so motor removal and install is easy peasy!! This design allows you to add other fixtures such as tilting tool rest, small wheel attachment, 2 wheel flat platten and others at anytime, purchased from me, built by you, or by others as the square tubing is purdy universal. At the base price you get what's pictured plus he stationary tool rest! (not pic'd) Bearings are sealed aircraft bearings so no servicing required!

I just sold one to a customer who wants to build knives as a hobbyist but also saw the utility for sharpening axes, lawnmower blades and.....on and on!! But wasn't wanting to drop $4k into one. (I make those as well)

Now about the whole feel good thang! The base plate, motor base and fixture arms are all Repurposed Metal!!! The chasis is new square tubing as it should be, but the repurposed thick steel is one great step to keeping it real!!
