Anybody got one, what you think about it? I like the idea but haven't shot one. I shot some 45 super that was heavily loaded out of a 1911 and thought it might be a little rough on the gun, but I'm not sure if the comp would slow the action down enough on the Roland for that to not be an issue. I like the idea, but not enough to tear up my guns. Plus I'm wondering how the drop in 1911 kits work, are they reliable or do you have to do a lot of tinkering to get them to run?

I have played with one definitely don’t do this on anything not forged.

They are fickle, they will cycle but don’t expect a mag dump. Well aimed slow fire no issues.
Nothing close to a 45 colt or a 44 mag in all honesty get a desert eagle if you want a auto loader.

Thanks for your input, the 460 Roland sounds like exactly not what I'm looking for LOL. I watch some videos too and it sure looked like it would be hard on the gun. I'll just stick with my big bore revolvers for Big bore revolver stuff. The Roland kind of looks like one of those things that seems too good to be true, and probably is

Love my 45 Super! I run 200 gr cast at 1285 fps as my primary hunting handgun. Nothing bad to say about it.
