I have been trying to order a blind for a month now. Finally got a call from Darren and he apologized and said they were super busy on an order that was to be delivered in Kansas and would call me on monday. 2 weeks go by and i send another email. He emails me back and says i will call in the afternoon. Never happened. They bite off more than they can chew ?, Supply issues ?, Short Staffed ? or is this normal and what i should expect from them ?

Concerning. I've bought one blind from him, through West Bear Creek in Junction. When I didn't quite trust what West Bear Creek was telling me (they're a kind of "out of it" feed store), I looked up Big Country's website and he always either answered or got right back with me. This was about a year ago. I wanted a window in the RV door.

I spoke with Darren a few minutes ago. Had left a message and he called me back. Just try to call him late in the day as you might have better luck.

I'm finding it more and more amazing how much you have to beg someone to take your money these days. Even when they are allegedly in business to make money.

Agreed. But I had the advantage of getting used to it over the last 20 years at our place that was a few miles outside of Fredericksburg. bang
When times get tough, they have no idea what hit 'em. 'Had a road contractor that I begged for a quote. He could never get around to it. I used someone else. 'Year and a half later he was calling me, asking if I had anything. Sorry Charlie. rofl

IMO- there for a while, business was good in a lot of
fields and some got to where they could cherry
pick the jobs they wanted to work on and the hours
they wanted to work. Things aren't so great anymore
and fuel and materials and everything in general is
way higher and way more scarce, plus a lot of bridges
were burned a few years ago
Many should have put in the overtime while it was there
to be had, and ratholed more funds and supplies
