Recall on Thompson Center Rifles

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Thompson/Center Arms has identified a condition that may cause the safety lever on certain ICON, VENTURE and DIMENSION rifles to bind, preventing the safety from becoming fully engaged.

In this situation, closing the bolt may move the safety to the fire position. The rifle will not fire unless the trigger is pulled.

However, out of an abundance of caution, we are taking this action to recall the rifles so that the firearm can be inspected by our technicians to ensure that the safety lever functions as designed.

This recall applies to all ICON, VENTURE and DIMENSION rifles manufactured by Thompson/Center Arms prior to June 13, 2013.

STOP USING YOUR RIFLE AND RETURN IT TO THOMPSON/CENTER AT ONCE.

Because the safety of our customers is our utmost concern, we ask that you stop using your rifle until we have an opportunity to inspect the safety lever to ensure its proper function.

To facilitate the inspection and repair, if necessary, of your rifle safety lever, please contact Thompson/Center’s customer service department ( http://www.tcarms.com/customerService/contact.php ) to receive instructions and a pre-paid shipping label for the return of your rifle to Thompson/Center.

Thompson/Center will repair the rifle at no cost to you, and return it to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Olin Corporation, through its Winchester Division, is recalling two (2) lots of M*22™ 22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Black Copper Plated Round Nose rimfire ammunition.
Symbol Number: S22LRT
Lot Numbers: GD42L and GD52L
Winchester has determined the above lots of 22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition may contain double powder charges. Ammunition with double powder charges may subject the shooter or bystanders to a risk of serious personal injury and/or death, or cause firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable.

DO NOT USE WINCHESTER® M*22™ 22 Long Rifle RIMFIRE AMMUNITION WITH LOT NUMBERS GD42L or GD52L. The ammunition Lot Number is imprinted (stamped without ink) on the left tuck flap of the 500-round carton as indicated here. The 1000-round intermediate carton does not have a Lot Number.

To determine if your ammunition is subject to this notice, review the Symbol Number and Lot Number. BlackGun Ammo LLC is recalling one (1) lot of 5.56mm 62gr Remanufactured Ammunition. This lot was shipped approximately between the dates of 2-1-13 and 3-1-13.

BlackGun Ammo LLC ballisticians, after extensive evaluation, have determined that some cartridges from Lot # MJC13B581-004 may exhibit dropped primers and excessive chamber pressures. Use of this product may result in firearm damage and or personal injury.

DO NOT USE Lot # MJC13B581-004 5.56mm 62gr Remanufactured . The lot number can be found printed on a label on the 50 round tray.

Shawnee KS, September 2, 2015 IMR Legendary Powders is officially announcing a
product safety warning and recall notice for IMR 4007SSC on the six lot numbers listed
below. IMR has received reports that this particular powder in 1lb and 8lb containers may
have become unstable due to possible rapid deterioration. Use of this product from these
lot numbers shown on the enclosed label may result in spontaneous combustion, fire
damage or possible serious injury.

1. Stop using this product immediately! Fill the powder container with water which
will render the product inert and safe for disposal.

Just saw this one

I put a couple through a S&W, 380. The first casing bulged and I will admit I missed it and shot the second one. It blew. Like blew the casing apart in the middle section. I was fortunate I did not sustain serious injuries except a brown line in my drawers.

I also understand that mistakes and recalls will happen. Here is where I am pissed at this company. I have emailed them WITH PICTURES of what their ammo did when it blew and we need replacements more so with this ammo shortage. I have also called. It goes to an answering machine and some fella says leave a message. Well you can’t. The mail box is full. In short Summit Ammo sucks with customer service.

The brand name on the box is Rattlesnake, FYI.

Nosler has received reports from customers who experienced excessive chamber pressures while using 28 Nosler 175gr AccuBond Long-Range Trophy Grade Ammunition (Part #60155). Excessive chamber pressures may result in firearm damage and/or personal injury.

The reported excessive chamber pressures are limited to three production lots of 28 Nosler 175gr AccuBond Long-Range Trophy Grade Ammunition (Part #60155). These lots were shipped between October 7, 2022 and December 28, 2022. No issues have been reported with other lots of this ammunition manufactured outside of this timeframe. If you have ammunition with lot numbers that differ from those listed below, no action is required.
