The ringing in my ears sound like cicada's year round for me . I was gonna say, they drown out the tinnitus. If it wasn't so dam hot, I'd sleep outside.  June 1st and I'm already sick of it. Must be a cranky old man thing.

Went down to the creek one day just sat there on my tractor when an owl lands near me on a branch. He proceeds to hang upside down on a small branch, grabs a cicada with the other foot, eats the thing and then flys off. It was an unexpected thing to see to say the least
