I have no problem with outing mental cases who make threats.

Lots of folks calling for EXPANDED background checks. What more could be added to the background check? Your supposed to answer the questions on the yellow form truthfully, and there’s no national mental health registry. confused2

I might’ve gotten behind some changes but the last two years I watched places burned and looted while state and fed governments allowed it to happen…naw, we good and I lost my guns in a terrible boating accident.

Private interstate sales is what they want, then you got a gun registry started.

I think most of us are sick of the lawlessness we have witnessed among the extreme left and among the elites over the years, we just want to keep things where they are. There is no need to change anything as DA’s and prosecutors simply don’t enforce law for even the most egregious demonstrations of broken laws that are no-brainers so why should we be expected to be subject to more rules?

Exactly, this guy, guy in Buffalo, most of the mass shooters, got their guns legally through background checks.....just another foothold for liberals to infringe on the 2nd Amendment. The problem is that federal law prohibits the sharing of information on NUT cases.

Yes sir, we don't even prosecute the laws on the books, how are more going to help?

Magazine bans didnt work.
Background checks havent worked.
Yellow sheets havent worked.
Gun free zones havent worked.
Before background checks the 7 day waiting period didnt work.
........yep new laws just like those above is what we need!

You would think if they would just make it illegal to kill people then people wouldnt kill people.

Strict gun control. Take the guns away from the criminals.

I wouldn't mind seeing some more stringent requirements for 18-21 year olds. Like sponsorship? I haven't thought this totally out, but I hear the 18 year old military analogy used and to me it just isn't the same. An 18 year old in the military is vetted, trained, controlled, monitored, then given increased responsibility as the individual has proven themselves. An 18 year old in the military has 100% more going for them than this POS ever thought about.

I would listen to a proposal to raise the age to 21, then may, or may not agree to the terms.

An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

About the only thing I could get onboard with is moving rifle age to 21. I just don’t think kids (18 year olds) are mature as they were 20-30 years ago.

But the 18 year old can join the Army or Marine Corps and they will hand him a rifle. Hell they will hand him a S.A.W. or a tank for that matter!

Right on, and I was going to say the same thing. No new laws need to be made, as you can't legislate morality, ethics, etc. What's gong on is an indictment on humanity, the human condition, whatever you want to call it. We have a heart problem, period, and have become a more Godless society. That's the problem if you ask me. It's funny how we've slaughtered millions of defenseless, unborn babies here in the USA and nobody gives a schittt about that.

I’m not a fan of 18 year olds being in the military these days. I have a endless number of pics of gang graffiti left in Iraq and Afghanistan. Most from the Bloods and Crips. No on any gun control though.

I'm guessing you are not an eighteen year old person and are happy imposing your will on others......

Says a lot right there!

If you find yourself feeling useless, remember it took 20 years, trillions of dollars, and four presidents to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.

Sometimes the Universe puts you in the same situation again to see if you’re still a dumbass.

Every gun law is an infringement.

More laws and reform only treat the symptom and not the disease. The value of life has diminished significantly in our society.

No new law would’ve prevented Uvalde. The extent of the carnage is on the idiot teacher and coward cops.

I wouldn’t make it a law, but I would make resources available to passively scan social media and immediately send notifications to local LE when terroristic posts are made. Every one of these scumbags has alluded to their actions on social media.

There is some science behind this. Our old insurance carrier at work wouldn’t allow us to employ anyone under 24 due to the hazards in the work environment UNLESS they were previous military or reached a certain level in boy scouts. I’m sure that was based on studies and not a knee jerk reaction.
