I grew up eating Patio frozen Mexican dinners. That looks good to me.

Raise the flag and eat another chile relleno for me.

My pops and I had a dream that we would be able to eat enough to be asked to leave ponchos. I was 17-18, 6’4 220 back then. I ate until I nearly puked. We kept raising the flag and they kept coming. I’d go back for sure.

There is still a Pancho's at I-20 and Green Oaks in Arlington.

It looks exactly likes the Pancho's of the 1970s-1980s.

Me too. But the best was Chi-Chi’s down by Walnut and 35. The fried ice cream alone was worth the trip.

There's one in River Oaks? I didn't know that. I liked the one in NRH, but haven't been in about 3 years. The one on Green Oaks will open up the pipes, so to speak, so I would occasionally go there. Metamucil is cheaper and gentler on the stomach.

When I was a kid, the red plates were used for kids and the black plates were for adults...Looks just like it did the last time I was there...but it doesn't taste like it did when I was a kid. I miss lard being used.
