Haven't been to my place in Dickens for over 3 months and stopped on my way to CO and KS for graduations. The place was bone dry and a tinder box with less than 1/2 inch this year!!!!!!!!!!!!.
On my way home Monday we stopped for the night and our Lord gave us a needed break. It started raining at 4am and continued most of the day Tuesday. 1.8" was the report.
Hoping it will be sufficient to support the fawns dropping and stimulate the quail to nest as there as scarce as hen's teeth,

Everything's missed my place except for a few tiny, brief showers. I'm thankful for what has come. We desperately need a lot more.

Almost 3" between Turkey and Silverton...
Had a little bit of snow in January, but no rain since October of 21...
Thankful for what we got, but would definitely accept a slow, soaking rain.

We'd had less than 3" since the end of July at my place in Mills County. Got several inches this week-thank you Lord!

Not seeing hardly any fawns. Have two doe I see regularly that both had single fawns but I think they both lost them as I have not seen them in a week now. That rain we got did very little as its still dry as can be. This deer season in Dickens county is going to stink this year I am afraid.

Been real dry in SC Okla for us for 6 months. Then a month ago we got 2.6”, last week 3.5” and today I’m guessing an inch. Thankful. Still not filling the tanks at all.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations. RWH
