Horrible situation in Uvalde. Gunman shot an officer and went into an elementary school. Held a 4th grade class hostage. Gunman was taken into custody but hearing of multiple people shot. Got word from a reliable source that a 10 year old didn't survive.
Now, word (from a teacher) is another shooter is at the middle school. Lots of disinformation going around, so I don't know what to believe. But I watched law enforcement and emergency responders roll through our town for two hours coming from San Antonio. Prayers for the kids, parents, residents, and first responders. They need your prayers.

The Uvalde Police Department announced just after 1 p.m. local time that the "shooter is in police custody." No other details, including the suspect's name was disclosed.

Whatever the situation is - it doesn't seem to be over. Emergency vehicles are still coming through from San Antonio with lights and sirens.
