Texas Hatchery for the Rainbow trout catch and release program is also in that area. Below PK dam is as far as I know the only place to fish for trout in Texas in the Summer as the put and take fish are dead from water temperature by then. Otherwise if you want to fish for trout the closest is Arkansas or Oklahoma.
