What are good options for re-barreling a rem700, 300wm, for dedicated long range? Will be a bench gun.
Any recommendations for a shop to replace the barrel around the Denton area?

Kreiger or Bartlein, chose your twist per the bullet you want to shoot, and the contour that will fit your stock. S&S Precision would be my go to in the Denton area.

Brux, and Muller works are a couple more worth considering.

I have a Hart barrel that is finished at 27 inches on a 700 action in 22-243 that shoots 1/3 MOA. Hart barrels are push button rifles and hand lapped so if only looking for cut then it is out.

Greg or Jeff will call you back, and get you a barrel faster than that. Those guys are so good at what they do, I will not do business with anyone else when it comes to barrel purchasing. Bartlein is always my #1 pick.
