What are good options for re-barreling a rem700, 300wm, for dedicated long range? Will be a bench gun.

Any recommendations for a shop to replace the barrel around the Denton area?

Kreiger or Bartlein, chose your twist per the bullet you want to shoot, and the contour that will fit your stock. S&S Precision would be my go to in the Denton area.

Thanks. Will look into Kreiger. According to Bartlein’s web site, they havea 10-12 month wait on getting barrels. eeks333

Brux, and Muller works are a couple more worth considering.

I have a Hart barrel that is finished at 27 inches on a 700 action in 22-243 that shoots 1/3 MOA. Hart barrels are push button rifles and hand lapped so if only looking for cut then it is out.

Nah,

Call Southern Precision Rifles in Tennessee. Greg or Jeff will call you back, and get you a barrel faster than that. Those guys are so good at what they do, I will not do business with anyone else when it comes to barrel purchasing.

Bartlein is always my #1 pick.
