I'm in the Pacific Northwest and will be between San Antonio and Austin around Labor Day weekend. I'm looking at hunting with https://sandyranchoutfitters.com/ and I'm curious as to whether anyone here has hunted with them. Thanks in advance, Okie John

I have lived in Texas all my life, and I have hunted all over the world. From looking at species offered and the location of the "ranch", this is simply a high fenced operation with apparent luxurious accommodations. If this is a "hunt" that you bring a wife and you enjoy shopping in the local towns, or wine tasting at the local vinyards, then have fun!
I suggest you contact and ask the following:
How many acres? How high is the fence? Do you sit in blinds (shooting houses) or do you drive around?
If you want a REAL HUNT then maybe look at The King Ranch at a Nilgai hunt , etc.

Looks like about 650 acres and give or take 10 blinds (shooting houses). I'd guess the fence is 8'.... .
