I’ll bet our LEOs know a bit about this. Watched an interesting documentary about people who go missing. Being a skeptic of things seen on wonkavision, I did a bit of research. You can find various statistics. It’s seems more than you might expect. There are many possible reasons, sometimes nefarious.

I intended to mean our LEOs hear about missing persons more regularly than the average person.

It has been happening for years. Just the numbers seemed surprising.

I found dozens of missing adults who had become so mentally ill they just went to living on the streets. The family reported them as missing but there’s not much law enforcement can do unless the person is an immediate danger to themselves or others.
