Just topped off for $4.17. All the stations around it just raised to $4.39. I believe it's the most I've EVER paid for gas and I'm going to run most of it out on this weeks lease trip.

Cost me $98.98 to fill my truck up today. First world problems, but a lease trip will cost me $175.00 is gas alone.

I stopped short at $100 today, pissed me off so I didn't fill it up.

Glad I went and did my tractor work last weekend.

Topped off my diesel tank with 3/4 left, have a round trip to Abilene tomorrow. 15 gallons @$5.09=$76.00, for a little more than 1/4 tank. Gas was $4.09 a gallon.

118 miles round trip to work and a solid 18 mpg in the truck. If they make me drive one of these cars that get 30+ around here I’m gonna show my arse.

I was able to get unleaded for $3.97 last night at the local Walmart with the .10 off per gallon thanks to the Walmart+ membership. This morning it was still $4.07 so I told my mom to go fill up because she's going to see her brother in Galveston tomorrow. Right after she filled up, it went up. I believe it's $4.39 like everywhere else. Truly glad I didn't buy the SUV, but now I'm wishing I'd bought a hybrid.

I used to tell people a story about when I stopped at a rural gas station in the Yukon and the charged over $5.00 per gallon after the conversion. That story used to be barely believable. This morning, I paid $4.39 down the street from my house.
