The vodka mixer thread got me thinking. I like Grey Goose. What the best vodka?

Tito’s for me…have tried them all & always go back to Tito’s.

Do not drink a lot of Vodka drinks but Titos works for me..
A friend gave me a small bottle of Taaka, the price is right but no clue though?

Also not sure what the parameters are for deciding what makes a vodka good?
Think about it, whiskey you drink straight up and can discern the flavors
Vodka is usually mixed with something which leads me to believe that who really knows?
I think it is more about trendy name recognition for status than actual pleasing the palate!

I have always been a Tito’s fan since it came out. I recently discovered Liberty County. It’s fairly new and better than Tito. The best thing about it is it’s 6 times distilled vodka made in TX for $16 a bottle. No hangovers in this handle.

Smith works has been named from trusted friends. I do not drink liquor but it supposedly pretty legit.

The best vodka is made by High Bank distillery in Columbus, Ohio. You can drink it neat like it’s whiskey, unfortunately as of a few months ago the place I was buying it from won’t ship to Texas anymore. So you have to go to a liquor store to order it.

Are we talking mixed or straight? I’ll drink Tito’s with nothing but ice. Never had grey goose.

Belvedere is good, I bought a bottle of Ciroc last night to try, interesting as it is a grape vodka. You get a hint of the grape when drinking it.
Reyka is also good.

My go to is Gallant "neat" right out of the freezer, cold & smooth

I stock Russian Standard, and I stocked up prior to the present squabble. Last time I ran out of Russian Standard, I got talked into some expensive Polish vodka. I didn’t like it much.

I don’t drink vodka, this was a gift from a serious alcohol snob..... it came highly recommended
