When the old man woke up, he was in the hospital with his jaw wired shut....An attending nurse explained he had been in a car wreck and would be there for some time while his injuries healed...She asked was there anything she might do to make him more comfortable.
"Coffee" he mumbled thru his clenched jaws, "I need my coffee".
The nurse said she would check with the doctor and left...When she returned, she was giggling and reported, "The doctor said absolutely nothing hot by mouth, the only way he is getting coffee is thru his rectum!".
The old man fairly yelled, "Then, get on with it! I need my coffee!"
The nurse, being polite, asked how he normally takes his coffee as she dutifull rigged an enema bag filled with java, Mixed in the requested "touch" of cream and sugar, rolled her patient over and started the infusion.
"Aauugh!" the old man yelled as he grimaced.
"What's the matter, too hot?" she quiried.
The old man managed, "No, too sweet!"
