Just out of curiosity, would you pay $51.00?

I found ya an FFL that will "store" your suppressor for $50.
But, he will charge you for the following... $25 for the Form 4 (you cannot do this yourself) $5 for the Responsible Person Questionnaire (each person if on a trust) $10 for postage $20 for the Form 4473 Bring your own finger prints and photos (which you will pay for from someone else).
We had a good laugh on your posts in this thread.
LOL
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

LOL
I was wondering how he intended to do his own paperwork considering that's not how a Form 4 or RPQ works at all lol

PigPopper, I understand wanting to get it done for as cheap as possible, but you must also understand that if a small business owner spends more than about 5-10 minutes for $50 they are losing money.

I see that the change was recently made to do the Form 4 electronically
Previously I had done the paper filing on two prior suppressors.
In those prior instances I was the one going to local PD station for the blank fingerprint cards and then going to Fort Worth downtown PD to get printed and working the trust .
Essentially I brought the FFL a complete and ready to review / sign package that they would drop into the mailbox.
Hence my original claim of the transfer agent simply holding the item.
I wasn’t aware the E form 4 was live and so I suppose this is the wrinkle in that while it is supposed to make it easier and quicker for the buyer the transfer agent assumes more processing time to feed the system on the buyers behalf unless of course I pay to use a kiosk.
I hadn’t given enough detail I suppose on the efforts and costs that I went through in the previous transactions having assumed (wrongly) that it would be the same old drill this time around.
I’ll do more research and decide if maybe the new $ 50 ask is really a 2022/23 $ 100 reality.
This space is For Sale - inquire within ...
