When it comes to water storage and rain water collection, there are limited diy overflow options on the internet. The options I've seen like like crap.

I have some questions:

1- will a bulkhead fitting work on a 300 gallon tote? I've yet to see one in person. Looks like it would.
2- do they make one that's not threaded?
3- any other cost effective ideas using pvc?

Cheapest is to just leave a gap between the filing hose and top of the tote.

You could do a DIY bulkhead with these since there's no pressure

This is what I used on mine. They’re Uniseals. Just drill a hole for whatever size you get. Put the seal in and then push the pipe in. The pipe seals it and Once you push the pipe in it doesn’t come out. Worked for me when I was daisy chaining my 55 gallon drums.

You would need to be able to insert and hold from the inside for this to work.

Yep leswad which is why I went with the Uniseals lol couldn’t for the life of me figure out a way to hold a bulkhead seal in place.

IBC tanks usually have a large opening on top. Chickeman's arm may too big but I bet he has a kid that could handle it. KRoyals uniseal looks like an easy fix

I think I can get my arm in there but I have a 6'2" son that weighs 100lbs. I bet his arm can fit grin

Bulkheads are easy to install on totes. They can be threaded or socket.

It would work if you can use a board to get it through the hole. Similar style to what’s on swimming pool filters.
