Russia has suffered another military embarrassment after Ukrainian forces reportedly destroyed its most advanced tank, the T-90M — just days after it was deployed. Illia Ponomarenko, the Kyiv Independent’s defense reporter, posted an image Wednesday of the smoldering wreck after the tank was hit. StoryIt's too bad they have nukes. we could wipe the floor with them in a conventional battle.

Putin keeps threatening NATO but leads an embarrassing third class military. I wonder if their rocket forces (or whatever they call them now) are any better than the rest of their fighting forces.

Any military that is forced or coerced to fight is going to be third class. That’s why our military is world class….it’s all volunteer. Someone who wants to fight for their country, (USA, current Ukraine forces) is always going to be a tough fight as opposed to those who fight because they have to.

Someone who wants to fight for their country, (USA, current Ukraine forces) is always going to be a tough fight as opposed to those who fight because they have to. The other thing I see is that we've been at war for a very long time. we're good at it. Russia has essentially not fought anyone of note for a very long time and it shows.

We drafted through three wars and did okay militarily. Politically not so much.

We drafted through three wars and did okay militarily. Politically not so much.
I would say we did ok in the first two….not so much the third one. I don’t lay that blame on the soldiers or the military, but more so on the spineless politician who wouldn’t unleash the military to fight.

Even in ww2 they complained about how the usa wouldn't shoot the bad guy.
Something like 25 or 30 percent wouldn't pull the trigger

Something like 25 or 30 percent wouldn't pull the trigger Supposedly that's why they use man shaped pop up targets now in training, psyches the troop up to pop at anything in front of him man shaped. Don't ask me I was in Alaska never launched a round down range in anger.

Russia spent too much on yachts , not enough on tanks . Talk big but their performance is less than impressive

They thought they'd do like General Norman Schwarzkoph did in Iraq and go through the enemy like $#!% through a goose. They ain't Schwarzkopf and the US forces evidently not even close.
