So...every time I come home from the ranch and I pass through Boerne on IH10, I'm getting angrier. Not a dam thing has changed on the actual surface of the highway in well over a year. Squeeze chute barricades, rocking and rolling temp pavement patches that literally throw you all over. It's dangerous as hell. They piddle on the two bridges every few days. Every time you go by there's a few guys standing around, but no body and no equipment is really working.
The highway department used to advertise meetings for the community, but it's crickets now. This crap has been going for around 5 years.
I'm not the old guy that writes letters and constantly contacts his state representative, but this is just wrong . I know the governor has his hands full with Joe's invasion at the border. Any suggestions? I'm sure there's someone on here that knows more about the situation than I do. This is BS.

You could always walk into your local TxDot office and ask someone.

Look for the county road commissioner.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Is it a county road, state road or federal?

They shut things down all the time because of some endangered plants, frogs, nesting season ect. It’s pure madness. If the tax payers knew how much money these people waste they would be up there with pitchforks. I was told this by a friend.

You could always walk into your local TxDot office and ask someone. Our local office is run by an idiot with just enough pride to get someone killed

That whole process seems little off. I mean it’s usually the same companies doing all the work at a snails pace. And txdot employs a lot of engineers. Maybe contracts are bought, maybe they are won I really don’t know.

It's a mind boggling thing Pilgrim What irritates me is when they have all of those choke barricades up closing lanes and they have not done a dayum thing, there is no equipment there has been no work done at all or people out there City is just as bad, they started putting in a new sewer line in the alley across the creek around 9 months ago. The last 6 weeks there has not been a soul show up to work on it and they have heavy machinery parked in an open area doing nada.

Yes, and all of those miles and miles of orange barrels and cones and concrete barricades are being leased by the month on your dime.
