No doubt… go get’em dude!
And If they glance at their chips (or touch them) right after they look at their cards, then proceed with caution

Amateur bs play. 4 and 5 people staying in every pot. People staying in on complete crap hands. I got beat on a big pot with pocket kings cuz some douche got a straight on the river with 10-7 off suit. Like come on. Why would you call $5000 bet twice with that hand?
I’m out now. I was playing conservative and after that big loss but was running out of blinds. Went all in on high pair after the flop since I was short stack. Got called and he had the same pair but a higher kicker. Fml

Not shocked. Like I said.. not going to find serious players at that level. Might be better off just grabbing a seat at the $1-$2 table. At least they are throwing "real" money in the pot when they are chasing.

Well guys. I sat down and lost 45 bucks and blackjack in 20 minutes. So now it’s all down to my wife winning bingo or we’re coming home empty lmao

My brother is the poker player in our family. Made some cuts and been on tv a few times on the hold ‘em tournaments.
Been kicked out of a casino for counting cards at black jack.

Think he doesn’t play much now that he quit drinking though.

That's the Vegas business model. But hope you had fun in the mean time. Travel safe up

What did you think? How serious are they? How long did you play?

I’m a very amateur player but thinking about trying when we go in May.

I have not played this game or been to vegas, but I have taken lots of statics classes, made A's in all, so I can say statistically you will lose long term. So, my advice, if you want to make money, if you are up, cash out you met your goal. If playing for fun, set a rule how much you are willing to lose and stop then. That's all I got cbump. grin

Good advice that I should have followed but never did hammer
You may have gotten A's in Statistic classes, probably not in spelling grin and this is coming from a guy that totally destroys the English language on a regular basis laugh

I have actually had a lot more success playing in the Vegas poker rooms than poker rooms in Oklahoma and Louisiana. My absolute favorite time to play in Vegas poker rooms is in the mornings between 6 and 9 am, because you have a bunch of people just coming back from partying all night that think it's a good time to play some poker before going to bed for the day.

Hell, I've been bit with pocket Aces more than I care to remember!

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
