I need a weed killer that will kill absolutely everything it touches. I’m about to turn to diesel fuel & fire. I’ve sprayed 3 different kinds of weed killer this year on weeds in areas with no grass and I swear it’s only made them stronger. None of these weeds are of the woody type.

What say ye?

What have you tried?

I have never seen super concentrated roundup ineffective.

Is it nutgrass? It’s a sedge and roundup don’t work.

Remember glyphosate is sold under multiple different names.

You are looking for 41-43% or more if you can acquire it.

The suffocate is also something to consider, I’m a diesel fan. Reply every two days for a week and give it a week and it will be gone.

2-D or 3-D is better if you want to save some of the grass but combo is pretty toxic if you want to go sourced earth

Anyway read label. Most weed killer is glyphosate % or 24D %

I have used different brands of 41% glyphosate for years. I used to mix it according to directions and got so so results. I finally realized it was cheaper to at least double the ratio the first time instead of reapplying after a few weeks. I mix two to three times what is called for and get it over with.

Oh I forgot when I run my fence with eraser I give the spray jug a squirt of dish soap in the mix , supposed to make it stick better or help with surface tension or something. Could tell a difference in amount of kill when I started doing that.

Is it something you want to stay bare dirt or gravel? And no chance of run off into green areas? I use a product called Enforcer in my gravel parking areas. About to have to reapply. Lasts 6-months to a year and effectively sterilizes the ground.

I found two enforcers.

one is enforcer “weed defeat” it’s 41% glyphosate
Then I found European branded enforcer that’s Looks like it’s a 2.4D solution

I have had the best luck with a 50/50 mix of double strength gyphosate and 2-4D with a squirt of dish soap.

I used Killzall more than 10 years ago in a space between the back of my garage and back fence. I wanted to put crushed granite back there. Put Killzall down 1 time before raking away all the existing grass and I have never seen a single weed back there since that time.

This is the answer to almost any weed problem...almost.

Killzall is the best I’ve used. I’m sure there’s something it won’t kill, but I haven’t seen it.

Just pour some boiling hot water on it.

Had to look it up. It's a Bromacil herbicide. And looks like it's gotten expensive as heck since I last bought any. frown Hope I've got enough left to clean up the parking lot one more time.

This looks promising. One two punch of Imazapyr and glyphosate. And I can get it at TSC. And a ton cheaper than Enforcer.

BigPig stirred this up and never say what he's tried that didn't work.
