This lease is 30 minutes from Eagle Pass. 5 guns total on 10,000 acres and has a 3 bedroom 2 bath mobile home. Price includes feed which is corn during season and protein and cottonseed. Price includes year around access and 2 bucks tags. One buck tag is for trophy buck and the second is for a management buck which would be an 8pt under 150". This ranch is and has been under management and only older bucks taken. Currently there are 14 stands and feeders in place.

Not hard, you'll have paperwork you fill out before you go that you get from the outfitter that supplies the hunting license. Check them in at the border and leave them at the ranch till season is over. Or check them out when you leave. They have to be checked in and out everytime you cross the border. Most hunters just leave them at the ranch till their last trip, then check them out.

Had a question about cell service at the ranch. There is cell service at the ranch house and on most of the ranch, but not 100% coverage on the ranch.

Hunted Mexico years ago - it is awesome - not the easiest place to get to but my guess is that Mexico is safer right now than South Texas -

I hunted mexico for 30 or 31 yrs enjoyed it all no issues, a hunter is a status symbol for the rancher, and the drug guys like having the hunters around for the federals to fool with, pretty much everybody knows whos who and leaves it alone . That being said the last few yrs there we traveled only during day light, and made sure we were following other vehicles while on the road they dont seem to mess with multiple cars on the road, the reason I left is my hunting bud passed and so did our landowner, Ill leave it with this hunting in mexico is like stepping back in time 50 years you just cant do that in Texas any more

Left out 1 thing the guys worried about Mexico talk about hunting all over the world comunist countrys and such africa and so on , but like I used to tell my wife if any thing bad happens in mexico you can always walk home people do it every day , just cant do that from any where else

I've never had any issues, nor has anyone I know. I got stopped by the federales once and they were very cordial and quick, no issues.

The Pitchfork ranch looks almost the same as it did 100 years ago right here in Texas. It’s very much like going back in time every time I pull into the lease.
