Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of TV shows that are all of a suddenly on the war path to outlaw guns?

Is it just me or does there seem to be a lot of TV shows that are all of a suddenly on the war path to outlaw guns? Well after their lord and Saint Baldwin had his ordeal, they have to cover their tracks

I don't watch a lot of tv but it seems that ghost guns are the new saturday night special.

Most people on earth are fighting to be free, we seem to be the only people going the other way. When I was a kid you could buy guns through the mail. I don't remember any gun violence. No back ground checks, we didn't lock our doors at night. No women or children were ever harmed. Our milk got delivered with little cardboard tabs on the top, no safety caps, etc. Most businesses you just went into business, no licenses, license fees, continuing education. What frustrates me is that our younger people are totally unaware of the way things used to be. They take regulation as a way of life and every time I turn around I find out some new aspect of living is now regulated.
Definitions have sort of changed as well. What exactly is a conservative or a liberal? Conserve what? Conserve freedom? Conserve a King? The better term would be collectiveness or independence. A lot of times I am watching a "conservative" on TV and this person starts using a lot of "WE" words, and "Our" words, etc. etc. and I realize that the person isn't what years ago would be a person who wanted to be free. The people that run the world have us all pushed into boxes and I don't like being in a box.
