I'm not very hard on knives (especially as I get older) and have only had one occasion to use it. I killed a buck back in January and used it to completely dress the deer. Usually I will switch out two or three knives for different parts of the job, but used the Acadiana for every part of the job from skinning to breaking down joints. I have to say that it has been very easy to use and comfortable in the hand for any or all parts of dismembering a game animal. I was trying to wait until I had a chance to slice and dice a big nasty hog to put it to the ultimate test, but I just can't seem to get out and get after them. I will let you know my opinion when that happens. By the way, I was pleasantly surprised how well it held an edge from start to finish. I usually have a ceramic stick or diamond steel with me to touch up the edge part way through, but did not with this knife and it really didn't need it. It would be great EDC knife for someone who liked to cary a fixed blade.

i just received a few knives that Mark made for me and they are awesome. Great quality build, razor sharp and nice handmade sheaths. Mark does exceptional work and communicated with me the entire time he was making the knives. i would highly recommend him if you are looking for a cool new knife.
