Got bored and went and bought a $6 tub of bait and went fishing from the bank for 2 hours. First hour was so intense I couldn’t keep 2 rods baited. Would have brought 7 home but the big one broke my stringer and 2 got away. Been so long since I went cat fishing I thought the length limit was still 12”. Turns out there is no length limit now. Yep. Everything was a Channel today. Probably going to go for a few hours again tomorrow now that I know they are there. Gotta wait until Academy opens to get more bait though.

one way to make your catfish taste better, clean water in a not used stock tank (with air bubbler) for a few days, this gets all the nasty stuff they have been eating cleaned out, learned this trick 60+ years ago, it works
