I was told Series I bonds are paying 7-8 percent interest.

I was told Series I bonds are paying 7-8 percent interest. If that is per year to slow for me!

I was told Series I bonds are paying 7-8 percent interest. If that is per year to slow for me! Stick it in utilities then and only gain/lose 2% a year. Otherwise, if the market heads the way some usually bullish folks are talking about then you'll either be in cash or losing 6-12% a year

I moved almost everything in my TSP to the G Fund in mid-December anticipating a rough 2022. Haven't even looked at it since.

WAY easier said than done - NOBODY knows when the bottom is nor the top - and I agree with not asking for your investment advice on any forum - find somebody you trust who does this for a living and let them analyze where you are in your personal situation and provide you options

I was told Series I bonds are paying 7-8 percent interest. If that is per year to slow for me! It's 7.16% right now, but I am sure it will be raised a good bit when the new rate is announced May 1st. Rumored it will be around 9.62% so one would want to wait a few days to buy them. Unfortunately you can only buy $10,000 worth, but if your married, you can double that. Not a bad guaranteed return for the next year in the current market. I have been taking advantage of it with any new non pretax money. But If your trying to get rich quick, I have no idea and I would not trust any answers from anything you did not research yourself.

That's all I got This. One you have enough dividend income coming in, you don't care about the price of stocks. You just keep hoping the dividend doesn't get reduced.
