I’ve never heard about him before but after reading that article he sounds like a real turd head.

Certainly a hit piece. Kind of stupid to ban baiting for bears in my opinion, the rest of the "allegations" in the article need links to back them up. The writer of the article Laura lundquist is an anti Trump, pro Liz Cheney anti hunter.

Guess you would like him to be a neighbor to your hunting place, right?

Didn't say that either. I just recognized a very biased writer an material not backed up with links. You have to make an effort to recognize material put out by anti hunters.

He started out writing guides to muzzleloading that I thought were a cut above, but then when he became a shill for the inline manufacturers, he attacked traditional muzzleloader hunting as unethical. I never had any use for that SOB after that.

Yeah, was on a Savage muzzleloading forum with him back in the early 2000s and he seemed like a decent fellow back then. I don't remember him railing against traditional MLs, but he did work a good bit with Savage, as did Randy Wakeman IIRC, to develop effective loads for Savage's 10ML-II smokeless muzzleloader, a gun I still own and love (shooting 65gr Reloder 7 under a 250gr Hornady SST/MMP sabot). Toby did a lot of load research, but also got into hot duplex loads with Lil' Gun, etc.

At some point, it seems like Savage and Toby had a falling out, and then, all of a sudden, Toby's Savage "blew up." Then he went on a G14 classified smear campaign against Savage.

Here's some additional info for your reading pleasure.
